It’s where all the creative happends and where I first fell in love with everything outdoors. A love that has taken me all over the world.

Ard is a 27 years old, self taught freelance photographer travels anywhere.

I discovered my love for outdoor photography while on a hiking trip through Peaks of the Balkans trail in the middle of 2022. My work nowadays focuses mainly on the feeling I got being on the trails, road and nature landscapes. To offer a documentation of my travels on a constant basis, I uses different media platforms such as Instagram and my Itinerary blogs, where I write my own expericiens of my daily hiking trips

With my work I try to inspire as many people as I can to head out themselves and love the travel world as much I do.

Why, I am doing thru-hiking.

Good question! Why would you leave the safety and comfort of your home and daily life to walk day-in and day-out for several weeks or maybe even months?

Well, think about the freedom of getting away from your everyday life and busy (work)schedule to become one with nature. Or how you can enjoy the amazing views and landscapes alone or together with fellow hikers. Unfortunately, it won’t be easy all the time. Thru-hiking will test your ability to cope with setbacks, pain, and test your much-needed perseverance. It is all part of the adventure and what makes thru-hiking so addictive! 

Life on the trail can be simple or can be really tough, specifically when it raining all day or stormy wind passing by.

Most thoughts are about navigation, food supplies, distances, the altitude of the mountains, the weather and how long the day will be measured in kilometres. You are really living in a different world; a wild world. The only thing you are worried about are your basic needs and that made me really happy.
